While our original design still proves to be the right fit for most, the blackout rack is available for those needing more adjustability. With a slotted mounting system and solid side rails, our crossbars can be placed anywhere. This is a great option for solar farms or crowded roof tops filled with pre-existing features. Our Blackout rack does eliminate the full-length rear roller but otherwise is the same fit and quality as our original style.
A collaborative effort between Verti-Rack and Camel Roof Racks proves successful, introducing the world's first monorail ladder for van life. As a standalone ladder it offers unique styling sure to draw attention, comfortable ergonomics and a focus on safety with ribbed rubber treads around 3 sides of each rung. When paired with an auxiliary rail, the ladder can expand into a surf/paddle board setup in the summer and a ski/snowboard set up in the winter. The rails are designed to receive Verti-Racks patented surf mounts with versatility for other accessories.
We have combined form and function, maintaining all the traditional looks of a black rack from the ground but with all the benefits of a lighter color on the roof. We are now offering our safety grip grey powder coat for interior crossbars and decking. With slightly more grip than the black it offers a bit more traction and substantial cooling properties. In addition to being cooler to the touch in the hot sun, a full or partial roof deck creates a ventilated canopy for the roof and allows walkable solar to run cooler.
